The Tonoe Warehouse Basement is a dungeon in Phantasy Star IV: The End of the Millennium. It is the northernmost accessible location in the Motavian village of Tonoe.
Story[]
Chaz, Alys, and Hahn continue their search for a way to free those trapped by Zio's petrification magic in Zema and Birth Valley. When they first meet Rune in Molcum, he suggests heading for Tonoe, where the stone-breaking elixir Alshline may be found. Rune then joins the group to go there, for he has other business there with its elder, Grandfather Dorin.
After an unscheduled stop in Krup, Rune conjures Flaeli to clear a barricade of rocks and guides Chaz's party through a cave leading to the secluded Motavian village. Once there, the party meets for an audience with the eccentric Dorin. He tells them that the precious liquid is stored in the basement of the warehouse at the back of town. However, the door to the subfloors appears rusted shut.
Dorin sends Gryz, a young Motavian refugee, with the party to retrieve the Alshline. After Dorin and Rune depart, Gryz tweaks a hidden switch on the basement access panel, allowing himself and the party through the weathered storehouse. The Alshline is eventually located in a ravaged section of the second level. With it, the party of four rushes back to Zema.
