Myau casts Terr on an Evildead mob in the original game.
Telele (Japanese: テルル, possibly meant to be the Latin Terrere, French Terreur, or simply "Terror"), also localized Terr or Terror, is a magic spell common to entries in the original Phantasy Star series.
Phantasy Star series[]
Phantasy Star[]
Terr, short for Terror, is a spell that causes the foe to become scared for a turn, forcing them to lose a turn recoiling in fear. In the original game on the Master System, Myau learns this spell at level 9 with a cost of 2 MP per foe.
Phantasy Star: Generation 1[]
In the PlayStation 2 Japanese exclusive remake of the original classic, Telele costs 6 MP per cast. Myau is the only character that can learn this spell, starting the game with it at level 1. Telele decreases the physical damage of the target.
Phantasy Star IV[]
In Phantasy Star IV: The End of the Millennium, the localization team named this ability Telele in the official English release. Kyra Tierney is the only character that can learn this skill, starting the game with it already known at level 27. This ability lowers all organic enemies' attack power. More specifically, telele has a chance to subtract the user's mental strength from all enemies' attack.
