Sar (Japanese: サレスタ) is the basic party healing technique common to Phantasy Star games.
Phantasy Star series[]
Phantasy Star II[]

In Phantasy Star II, sar costs 13 TP to cast. It restores 20 HP to all allies. Sar can be used outside of combat. But it is less efficient per TP spent then single target healing spells.
Amy is the only character who can use sar. She learns the technique at level 9.
Phantasy Star III[]
Gires takes the place of all three sar techniques. It has a cumulative success rate.
Phantasy Star IV[]
In Phantasy Star IV: The End of the Millennium, sar costs 12 TP to cast. It restores an amount of HP equal to the caster's mental stat to all allies, but is not effective on android party members, or on defeated party members. It can be used in combat or out of combat.
Rika and Raja are the only player characters who can use sar. Rika learns it at level 20. Raja already knows sar when he joins the party.

Resta takes the place of sar and other healing techniques.
