The planet Halpha is host to diverse flora and fauna.

Halpha (Japanese: ハルファ), in one instance mistakenly called Harpha,[1] is the name of the planet that serves as the main setting to Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis. The region currently available to explore is the Aelio region which is split into four quadrants (North, South, East, and West) in relation to their position around Central City, and within those quadrants are zones.

The zones in the Aelio region that are currently explorable include: Central Aelio, South Aelio, West Aelio, North Aelio, Mt. Magnus, Vanford Laboratory Ruins, Resol Forest, and Halphia Lake. DOLLS are not listed in any zone because they can be found in any area with exception to Halphia Lake.

Central Aelio[]

Central Aelio is a zone with a recommended Battle Power of 800 and is located at the center of the map surrounding Central City. The monsters in this area are Level 1. The field area in this zone is known as Halphana Plains, and its subsections which double as the Ryuker Devices in this zone are Halphana Plains: West and Halphana Plains: East.

South Aelio[]

South Aelio is a zone with a recommended Battle Power of 835 and is located southeast of the map. The monsters in this area are Level 3. Notable subsections which double as the Ryuker Devices in this zone are Balflow Falls and Mt. Piccolt. South Aelio is one of three zones to have a Region Mag stationed in the area, the location of which is on a cliff south of Balflow Falls.

West Aelio[]

By far the largest zone in the Aelio region is West Aelio with a recommended Battle Power of 933 and is located west of the map. The monsters in this area are Level 7. There are several notable field areas which include Cryano Cliffs, Lakau Coast, Mt. Mahinapali, Crykau Hills, the former Aelio Town now known as Aelio Town Ruins, and Kanai Isle. The three Ryuker Devices in this zone are Cryano Cliffs, Lakau Coast and Aelio Town Ruins. West Aelio is one of three zones to have a Region Mag stationed in the area, the location of which is near Lakau Coast.

North Aelio is a zone with a recommended Battle Power of 1045 and is located northwest of the map. The monsters in this area are Level 12. Notable subsections which double as the Ryuker Devices in this zone are Halphana Wetlands and Altolani Plateau. North Aelio is one of three zones to have a Region Mag stationed in the area, the location of which is east of West Aelio's Cryano Cliffs Ryuker Device.

Mt. Magnus[]

Mt. Magnus is a combat sector that is located southeast of the map. It is split into two ranks, the latter of which is locked until the recommended Battle Power is achieved and a certain segment of the main story is completed. Rank 1 has a recommended Battle Power of 894 and the monsters in the area are Level 5. Rank 2 has a recommended Battle Power of 1184 and the monsters in the area are Level 15. There is a single Ryuker Device located here that shares the same name as this zone.

Vanford Laboratory Ruins[]

Vanford Laboratory Ruins is a combat sector that is located east of the map. It is split into two ranks, the latter of which is locked until the recommended Battle Power is achieved and a certain segment of the main story is completed. Rank 1 has a recommended Battle Power of 1009 and the monsters in the area are Level 10. Rank 2 has a recommended Battle Power of 1184 and the monsters in the area are Level 15. There is a single Ryuker Device located here that shares the same name as this zone.

Resol Forest[]

Resol Forest is a combat sector with a recommended Battle Power of 1184 and is located north of the map. It can only be accessed upon completing a segment of the main story. The monsters in this area are Level 15. There is a single Ryuker Device located here that shares the same name as this zone.
