Gold Rappy (Japanese: 金のラッピー), alternatively known as Golden Rappy, is a creature that only appears in Sonic Runners. It is uncommonly summoned by the Rappy Buddy while Sonic and his friends are on the field. Collecting these rare creatures boosts the player's score.

Appearance[]

Gold Rappy is very similar in design to the Rappy seen in Phantasy Star Online 2 and the rappy species in general from the Phantasy Star franchise.

This small bird, even smaller than the Rappy summoning it, is a radiant rappy colored solid gold. It retains the different colored underbelly and patches around its eyes, with each colored a lighter shade of gold than its body. Its eyes, beak, and feet are the darkest parts of its body.

Upon being summoned by the Rappy Buddy's song, Gold Rappy will idly flap around its surroundings until Sonic and his friends bump into it and pick it up. Upon being collected, it will add points to the player's overall score.

At max level, Rappy has a 50% chance of summoning these rare creatures. The chance increases to 55% if the buddy is paired with a similarly typed character, which in the avian's case is speed.
