An Excube is an account bound, exchangeable form of alternative currency in Phantasy Star Online 2. It can be used to acquire a variety of rare items in the Excube Exchange Shop, as well as additional skill points (SP) with class-specific excubes that are needed to complete unique client orders.
General Data[]
Appearance[]
In game menus, an excube appears to be a transparent red cube made of crystal. It is highly reflective on each face of the crystal body. Its smaller icon is a square with a glare of light obscuring the middle.
Acquisition[]
There are several ways to acquire excubes in PSO2. The most common method of obtaining excubes is maxing out a class' level. Although the class may have reached the cap, the character will continue earning experience points in that class. When the experience bar fills completely, instead of a new level, the character will acquire an excube in their inventory.
The next way to obtain excubes is by exchanging tradeable currency for an excube. The following is a table with each shop that contains the item that needs to be traded in.
