PSO2COMI (Japanese: ぷそ煮コミ), known as Puso Ni Comi in Japanese and also called Phantasy Star Online 2 Comic, is an online gag comic series based on the free-to-play online multiplayer game, Phantasy Star Online 2, and illustrated by Pekeko. The comic follows the daily misadventures of a group of friends whose plights in-game are humorous and relatable to casual and hardcore ARKS alike. Although the Japanese original was primarily printed online in black and white, the comic was given a full-color makeover upon being localized to English. A new season of the comic, PSO2COMI NGS (Japanese: ぷそ煮コミNGS), which focus on Mitarashi and co.'s misadventures in Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis, started on June 9, 2021 and new chapters were published every Wednesday, with the English localized version started publishing from June 25, 2021.
The comic series was adapted into an anime of the same name in 2019. Select episodes were localized and dubbed into English in 2021.
Characters[]
The cast of characters accompanied by their real-life counterparts
- Mitarashi - An energetic and sincere ARKS who loves the ARKS jersey. She is a working adult and gamer with the same general disposition both in and out of the game.
- Tetra - A passionate and outgoing female newman. In the real world, is a college student who spends part-time job wages on PSO2 scratch items. He is actually male in real life.
- § Ichika § - A male deuman who may come across as a know-it-all. Born from the abyss and living a lonely existence, this poetic character's true appearance is a junior high school girl.
- Magical Robot ★ Zect - Often goes simply by Zect. This male CAST appears to be on the older side, but his true character is shrouded in mystery.
- Makino - A motherly male newman that plays at a laid back pace. In the real world, she is an elderly lady who loves games.
- Dolce - A skilled female CAST who supports Makino while hiding her true identity. She is a high school girl who is in actuality Makino's granddaughter.
- Nekonomiya♪ - A female human with a relaxed attitude. For some reason, she exposes her true nature only to Tetra and enjoys seeing her reactions.

- The Japanese name of the comic is wordplay on the pronunciation of "PSO2." The number "2" is written "煮". Each adventure segment is told in short bite-sized tales which alludes to the title to be read as "PSO Stew Comic." The logo itself also references a hot pot with the cooker handles adorning the sides of the image.
- When the official English PSO2 website was remodeled on January 25th 2022, the original translated PSO2COMI comics were removed and never republished to the new site.
