Techniques in PSO2es

Techniques are offensive magic-like abilities in the form of equippable chips in Phantasy Star Online 2 es. Each technique consumes a certain amount of Chip Points (CP) per use. The amount of CP each chip needs varies between the strength of the technique and the level of the chip.

When released, simply add 20 to the chip's level to determine the new max level. For example, Megid 1 originally has a max level of 20 but, when released, its new max level increases to 40 and so forth. Furthermore, unless otherwise stated, all released chips in the technique category get ability+, which in general is stronger than its normal counterpart (example: foie 1's original fireball 1 ability is weaker than its released fireball 1+ form).

Bronze plated chips are the easiest type of technique to find and, consequently, this also makes them the weakest in strength. They are usually given as a prize during trials or won via Fun Scratch. Silver and Gold chips are the rarer and more powerful forms only obtainable by using Fun, Arks Cash or Rappy Coins.
