Ulysses: Is this the trade route? It extends all the way to the end of our horizon.
Melissa: I traded with merchants who passed by here while searching for treasures.
Melissa: You can buy a lot of luxuries from the Eastland.
Ulysses: I see. You can do business during treasure hunting.
(Suddenly, the group notices a woman running close by.)
???: Bandits! Everybody, the bandits are coming!
Ulysses: Hmm, what's going on there?
Melissa: A merchant caravan is under attack by the bandits. It happens a lot in the desert.
Bandit: Grab the goods! And kill them all!
???: You wish! Guys, keep fighting!
Melissa: It's not good... That whole caravan will be massacred in no time.
(Uly is given two options: "Let's help them!" or "We'd better stay out of trouble.")
(When choosing "Let's help them!")
Ulysses: Let's help the caravan! We can't just sit and watch!
Melissa: Yeah! We can't turn a blind eye to it as we're all merchants!
(When choosing "We'd better stay out of trouble.")
Ulysses: We can't afford to be dragged into the battle. We'd better stay out of the trouble.
Stella: Uly, are you serious!? How could we just stand by?
Melissa: Yeah, Commander! I can't believe you're such a wuss!
Ulysses: All... All right. Let's fight!
Ulysses: Guerrilla Squad of the Aries Chivalric Order, attack! Help the merchant caravan!
(The bandits are defeated.)
Bandit: Who... Who are these guys? Where did they come from!?
???: Who... Who are you?
Ulysses: We're the Aries Chivalric Order. You're good now.
Jasper: Hey, you guys, one more fight!? We won't go easy on you.
Bandit: Mmm... Everyone, back up! Retreat!
(The bandits flee the scene.)
Jasper: It seems they've escaped. Oh my god, we're good for now.
Roxanne: I'm Roxanne, a merchant in the desert.
Ulysses: I'm Ulysses, Commander of the Guerrilla Squad of the Aries Chivalric Order. Are you wounded?
Roxanne: No, I'm fine. But we're robbed of most goods.
Ulysses: Oh...
Roxanne: But it happens a lot in the desert. I'm lucky enough to be still alive.
Roxanne: Commander, thanks for your help. Please let me repay you.
Ulysses: Forget about it. That's just what we should do.
Roxanne: No, that will damage my reputation as a desert resident. Anything you need, just name it.
Melissa: Commander. Maybe we can ask her to guide us?
Jasper: Good idea! Melissa, well done!
Melissa: Hee hee, this is a strength of us merchants.
Roxanne: To guide you in the desert? That's a piece of cake, count it on me.
